Letters to and from Isaac Mickle: from his uncle, John W. Mickle, containing information relating to the latter's trip (1848) to Niagara Falls and Saratoga, N.Y., during which time he attended a convention of "20,000 Barnburners", with both black and white speakers; from Isaac to his uncle regarding a sea voyage to Charleston, S.C., with his views of the city and slavery; from Clara Mickle to her husband about the health of their son, and later letters of consolation after the deaths of their infant sons; and from Isaac W. Mickle to Lemuel Davis, apologizing for the conduct of a member of the Ciceronian Debating Society; together with invitation to picnic in Haddonfield, N.J., sent to Lemuel Davis from John Clement.
